My daughter is handicapped and has to use a wheelchair. When I was planning a trip for us this summer, I went online and looked for Maine motels that had handicapped rooms available. While most of them do, I wanted to book one in advance so that we’d be sure to get it when we needed it. It always takes just a little bit more planning when you have a handicapped child, but of course it’s more than worth it. We’ll have a wonderful trip, I’m sure. We all love the water and just getting away during the summertime. I can’t wait.
