I had a friend of mine build me a new computer, and he had me there to help him as he was putting it together. I had never done anything like this before, so it was new and fascinating to me. He explained that in order to correctly partition the hard disk, he needed to use the fdisk tool and he showed me how it was done. Once that was complete, he was able to format the partitions with a file system. In the end, he built me a truly great computer, and it works better than anything else I have owned. I also have great friends!
