A Boy’s Special Day
Miscellaneous February 8th. 2010, 7:45amAs a cub scout leader, I try to make den meetings fun for all involved. Yet there are times when I feel I need to single a boy out for special attention. I frequently do this on birthdays and major events in a boy’s life. For their special day, I make up birthday gift baskets. In the basket, I try to include a special birthday badge, a small toy and some candy along with cards from each boy. This is something that the whole den looks forward to as they know their day will come. So far I have received no complaints so I’m going to continue doing this.
