I have always liked helping others, and when I was volunteering in a hospital a few years ago, I realized that I wanted to become a nurse. I applied to several local colleges, but the high cost and waiting lists were big deterrents. I wondered if there were any Online Nursing Programs, and I was very pleased when I discovered that I could earn my degree much more quickly that way. The coursework was comprehensive and it prepared me well. Now that I have completed my degree, I am working in the labor and delivery unit of a hospital, and my career is even better than I had imagined.
