Oily Foods – A Nightmare If You Have To Stay Away From Foods High In Cholesterol

Many of the foods that we enjoy eating are laden with fat that makes them taste better and also makes them more filling. Oily foods, however, can cause havoc to our heart and arteries. Cocktail peanuts, fried potato chips and other snacks are laden with high cholesterol. While dried peanuts themselves may be good for protein, oily cocktail peanuts are a cholesterol nightmare. Potatoes on their own are not high in cholesterol but when you fry them or cover them with sour cream as well as butter, then they also become a high cholesterol food. You should try to incorporate more vegetables and whole grains into your diet and eat lean protein that is grilled or broiled when you are watching your cholesterol levels and avoid foods that are oily, loaded with fat and are high cholesterol foods.
