Our only daughter has always tried to keep up with her older brothers.  When they were small, she wanted to try to do everything the boys did.  Rugby, cricket, soccer.  She wanted to be a part of every sport they played.  That was fine until they grew older and stronger than she.  After a bloody nose or two and a broken arm, I thought she might hang up her spikes for dancing shoes.  Actually, the situation became worse when her brothers got New Motorbikes.  She wanted a Honda 125CC motorbike so she could go riding with the boys and their friends.  Of course her brothers protested that they didn’t want their little sister tagging along with them.  I didn’t feel it was appropriate at all for a young girl to ride a motorbike.  In the end we made a compromise.  Her father and I promised to buy her a car when she is old enough to drive.  Problem solved!
