A few weeks ago, my daughter came home from school so excited! She had one of those Scholastic book order forms, and wanted to buy a book about card making that she had found. It wasn’t much money, but to help her learn about budgeting, I told her that she would need to do some extra chores to pay for it herself. I told her that I would buy the envelopes for any card she made, but that she had to buy the book herself. She quickly agreed, and did an amazing job of finding ways to earn extra money. And do you know who got the first card she made? I did!
